Our client is looking for a Solicitor with strong Housing and Property Litigation experience. They are a recognised Legal 500 firm who employ over 50 staff. The department has recently experienced an increased volume of new client work.
This position will involve dealing with a broad range of Housing Management and Leasehold, as well as Tenant disputes. On top of this you will focus on areas such as sheltered housing, policy and procedure review, welfare reform and tenure reform.
The successful candidate will have experience in dealing with publicly funded as well as private matters and will be reporting into the Head of the Department. All candidates will be expected to have relevant housing law experience and have a passion for this area of work, the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, working independently and as part of a team. The ability to take on a supervisory roll and manage and supervise Trainees and Paralegals will be an advantage.
Candidates with a broad range of experience in public and private housing law are encouraged to apply.
Our client envisages that candidates ranging from NQ to 3 years PQE will have the relevant skills/knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
