About the Software Engineers (Software, Developer) role: FinancialForce are looking for agile Software Engineers (Software,Developer) to join their expanding organisation, which provides softwaresolutions on the Salesforce platform. Your role will be working in amulti-disciplined Scrum team where you will be given the opportunity tobuild the next generation of cloud based business solutions. You willderive technical solutions from user stories working collaborativelywith your SPO and implement complex and highly integrated businesssoftware using a combination of Salesfores and cutting edge technologyand infrastructure. Your role will be to ensure the continualcontribution, motivation, education and process improvement initiativesrun within the R & D team Knowledge and experience of complex enterprise applications andadvanced OO patterns and architecture principles, such as databasedesign and concurrent users Working with the Product Owner, Business Analysts and TechnicalArchitect to develop software from a set of requirements using the SCRUM methodology. Working within a SCRUM team to assist with training other members ofthe team To review User Help documentation. Working within a framework of published standards and practiceswithin the company. The development of high quality software within agreed timescales Work with Business Analysts providing technical advice and guidance Support of the operational business through adoption of newtechnologies and development of ad-hoc prototypes Smooth throughput of various planned and unanticipated issues arisingduring the development phases Supporting the SCRUM release planning and sprint planning processthrough analysis and estimation of development work Development of Automated Tests Packaging for major and minor releases Assist the recruitment process as well as training and mentoring newstarters into the team Release-time strict management of source code modifications from all developers Influence process improvements The package: A negotiable salary, up to 8% employer contribution, 25 days holidayincreasing to a max of 30 plus bank holidays, life assurance, criticalillness cover and free car parking.
